ABOUT MARTY MEDVED

MARTY MEDVED’S BACKGROUND

Greetings! Call me Marty. I’m not a doctor. I’m a simple engineer guy with some great cultural and global experiences, a love of cooking and good food, and a desire to live free and naturally.

I grew up in Kazakhstan (former USSR Soviet Republic). My grandfathers were both Chinese. My grandmothers were both Russian. My family had a very simple lifestyle. I learned how to cook, fish, garden, and build things from my father and mother at a very early age. I learned that food is delicious, fun, and energizing! It is also great medicine for our body. Food is life!

I served in the USSR Army and received my Master’s Degree in Air Space Engineering and Mechanics. After much traveling and working throughout Russia and the Mediterranean, I came to the USA. At this point, I served in the US Army, became a US citizen, and worked in a multitude of careers, including federal government, sales, the transportation industry, and a bit of the food industry.

With this unique background, I’ve had many fascinating experiences and been exposed to a variety of perspectives about what comprises a good lifestyle, good food, and a healthy spirit. And through it all, I try to view everything from my engineer’s point of view. That is to always keep things simple. Because the simplest, shortest path in any task is often the best. A simple life is a happy life!

This is Lola. My fiance and partner. Lola is American with European heritage. Together we have gone through quite a journey and both agree that the simple, organic lifestyle is the healthiest and happiest.
